August 14, 2009 was Henderson County Chamber of Commerce
Night at the Evansville Otters baseball game. There were
more than 4,000 people in attendance that night and some of
the residents of WARM were recipients of tickets given out
by the Chamber.
Here at WARM we recognize that part of recovery and re-entry
to a sober lifestyle is to go out and experience fun! The
excitement and pageantry of attending a live baseball game
makes this possible… Getting to the stadium, finding
several good seats together and then it all began… A young
lady sang the National Anthem as we stood in awe and
appreciation of our country and one of it’s greatest
past-times. The baseball game, the “Otter”, the “wave”,
“girls’ night out”… It all made for an evening filled with
lots of fun… Even if the Otters didn’t beat the Crushers!
